Our Philosophy

There is no “formula” for teaching a child how to become an excellent writer.  Each child must find their own style, their voice.  We can teach them the skills to put proper sentences together.  We can teach them to organize their writing.  We can teach them them the rules of grammar.  But if we want them to be a truly great writer, we must inspire them to love writing.  Once a child develops a passion for writing, the sky is the limit.   If they take that passion and combine it with the skills they have learned, then, and only then, will the child excel in writing.

At Inspire Kids 2 Write, our goal is to inspire each and every child that joins us to find their passion for writing.

Meet the Instructor: Tiffanie Moyano – Founder/Writer

Tiffanie Moyano has been teaching students for more than 25 years.  A graduate of San Jose State University, she began her teaching career at Challenger School, teaching elementary students.  After working her way up to headmistress, she decided that her real passion was in teaching writing to students of all ages.

For many years, she taught writing classes on the weekends, first out of students’ homes and then out of her own home.  In late 2008, she resigned from her duties at Challenger and started Inspire Kids full time.  She is as passionate today about what we do here at Inspire as she was in May of 2009.

In addition, she currently authors two blogs and is working on the completion of her first children’s book and a series of grammar workbooks.
